About The Dreaming Tree
The Dreaming Tree is a warm and inviting woodland retreat on a quiet, private lot just minutes from Egg Harbor in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin. Surrounded by nature yet close to dining, shopping, and outdoor adventures, this home is ideal for families, couples, or friends looking to unplug, reconnect, and unwind.
The home offers two separate living spaces, making it easy for everyone to spread out. The upstairs loft is a perfect hangout for kids or movie nights, while the main-level living room invites cozy conversations by the fireplace. After a day exploring Door County, soak under the stars in the year-round hot tub or gather around the fire pit for s’mores and stories.
One well-behaved dog is welcome (additional fee applies), so your four-legged family member doesn’t have to miss out on the fun.

Located on a quiet private road near a few friendly neighbors—ideal for peaceful, relaxing vacations - Quiet hours between 10PM and 10AM

No parties or events (including bachelor/bachelorette parties, reunions, or weddings)

There are two exterior security cameras - one located on the front of the garage and the other on the side of the garage, both facing the driveway.

While there are two seats at the island in the kitchen, four more seats at the breakfast bar that runs along the kitchen wall, and seating for four outside at the patio table, there is no formal kitchen dining table in the cottage.

“This house was a perfect spot for our family trip to Door County! When we first arrived, a whole fam of deer and wild turkeys greeted us in the forest. It was so nice to be tucked away in the quiet wilderness. As far as the home, it had everything we needed. I was surprised to see so many thoughtful accommodations for families with small children- including a gate for the stairs and a high chair. The hot tub was perfect for my husband and I to enjoy our own time while our son napped. The location was wonderful- close to The Farm and a short drive to some of DC's best spots. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!”

There are many wineries in town to check out and it's close to the State Parks. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and we would love to come back again during the summer months.”

"We had a wonderful stay here! The house was spotless and was well stocked (more than many other places we’ve stayed). It looks exactly liked the pictures and having two levels was nice allowing some privacy since we had two couples staying here. The beds were extremely comfortable! The one on the first floor is pretty low so may be a little hard for an older person or someone with mobility issues but was fine for us. We loved using the hot tub and seeing deer early mornings and at the end of the day! We had two extremely hot days and the AC units worked great keeping the whole house nice and cool. Egg Harbor town, shops, and restaurants were only a 10 minute drive and many other places to visit were an easy 15-20 minute drive. Cory was very nice and responded quickly to messages. They also gave lots of helpful information and recommendations. I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again!"
